YMCA Welcomes New Administrative Coordinator Print E-mail

The Meeting Waters YMCA, whose purpose is to “build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities” in the Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, Springfield and Fall Mountain regions has just gotten a little stronger itself. Executive Director Steve Fortier has just announced the addition of Lisa Delmar as the 113 year-old organization’s new Administrative Coordinator.

“We are very excited to welcome Lisa to our organization,” explains Fortier. “She brings great skills, experience and passion to her work with us. Lisa will play a leading role in making sure that our operations continue to run smoothly as we expand our capacity, outreach and service in major ways over the next few years.”

Lisa brings nearly 20 years of business and office management experience to the regional YMCA. Most recently, Lisa spent close to a decade as Office and Logistics Manager for Robert Fritz, Inc., the Newfane-based company of Robert Fritz, world-renowned author and consultant on human and organization development.

Lisa joins Executive Director Steve Fortier, Senior Program Director Sue Fortier and Out-of-School Program Director Sara Chamberlin as the fourth member of the Meeting Waters YMCA’s administrative team. In her role, Lisa will have primary responsibility for staff and customer support, program enrollment, and financial management. She’ll be based at the organization’s administrative offices in Bellows Falls.

Delmar says she is “really excited to be working with everyone at the Meeting Waters YMCA. I think we are doing great work in the communities of the CT River Valley and I look forward to supporting the staff and volunteers as we bring our quality, purposeful programs to even more people.”
