Meeting Waters YMCA has been serving the communities of the Fall Mountain region since the mid-1960s when a Teen Center was created in Walpole and bussing was provided from Walpole, Alstead and Charlestown to our day camp programs (Board member Torrey Greene, who grew up in Alstead, was on some of those first camp busses!).

Today, we are a leading provider of youth services in the Fall Mountain region. Hundreds of Fall Mountain area youth now benefit from Meeting Waters YMCA programs and services. Dozens of youth ages 5-15 participate in our summer camp programs which provide bussing each day from Walpole, Drewsville, Alstead, Langdon and Charlestown. Many FM area teens and young adults hold staff positions at these camps. Through partnerships with the FM Regional School District, we support the YMCA Youth & Government program at FMRHS, facilitate an annual three-day community-building retreat for Vilas Middle School 6th graders, and we co-founded and continue to lead the Fall Mountain Area Healthy Youth Initiative. Our Board of Directors looks forward for continued growth in outreach and service to the Fall Mountain area.
