Dear friend of the Meeting Waters YMCA,
The Y is the unparalleled cause for strengthening community. We are a powerful association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side by side with our neighbors in our community to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
Here is what just one of the thousands of people whose lives we've positive impacted, Kathryn Kenney of Brattleboro, has to say about Meeting Waters YMCA:
“A few years ago, I became a kinship foster mom to my 4 grandchildren. My work schedule was not compatible with my new family life. The Y’s programs have been a life saver for me. I never worry or agonize over where the kids will go afterschool, on snow-days, or the many vacation and in-service days when I need to work. ASPIRE has given the kids an opportunity to expand their community. The Y summer camp gives me a worry free summer for the children. The days are fun-filled and they have gained many skills there. I feel fortunate to have found a camp that offers transportation and meets my scheduling needs.
“I cannot say enough about how all of your out-of-school programs have helped our family. It is a gift to not only my kids but the community, as well.”
We invite you to invest in our impact. To make a donation online at our secure website, click here. To download and print a donation form, go here.
Once you've offered your support, you can look forward to receiving a quarterly report that we call "ROI: Reporting Our Impact." Through this, a visit to a program site (just give us a call to set one up!) or a meeting with a volunteer or staff leader, we'll keep you up to date on how we are turning your investment into impacts in your community.
Thanks for your thoughtful consideration.
Be well,
Diane Myers-Miller, President Steve Fortier, Executive Director
